Finally, we got it! Apple today announced this year’s most anticipated new additions, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. These new items got 5G connectivity, OLED display, and new camera capabilities.

The iPhone 12 Pro lineup will be available with the same Super Retina XDR display: the iPhone 12 Pro with a 6.1-inch display and the 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display.

Pro versions of smartphones have LiDAR scanners for augmented reality applications. This means that devices will render realistic AR faster and with 6x better autofocus in low-light scenes.

We expect this to lead to new applications and capabilities within applications.

Also, LiDAR technology is used for automatic focusing and photography in low light, which will make it possible to take photos and videos faster and better in low light conditions.

The new image signal processor (ISP) A14 Bionic will also contribute to the image quality. The phone camera will be able to shoot in Apple ProRAW mode, but this update will be available only at the end of the year. What is this format?

This format combines Apple’s multi-frame imaging and computational photography capabilities with the versatility of the RAW.

According to the Apple company

For users, this means that creative photography enthusiasts will be able to manipulate photographs at the professional level, namely, control color, detail, and dynamic range on the iPhone and use third-party photo editing applications.

The videos on the new models should impress no less than the photos. With the new features, you can shoot HDR video with Dolby Vision, up to 60 frames per second, and improved video stabilization. For iPhone users’ convenience, the company has added the ability to share high-definition video via AirPlay.

As mentioned above, Apple’s new A14 Bionic chipset boosts device performance by 40 percent over the previous chipset. As with the iPhone 12, the Pro models also have 5G connectivity.

You can pre-order the Pro models starting October 16 with full availability on October 23.
