As a fully remote company, we welcome talented individuals seeking hourly-based freelance opportunities.

Altamira is looking for an experienced QA Engineer for a part-time freelance role (approx. 4 hours/day).

This role offers flexible, hourly engagement, ideal for someone seeking part-time freelance work in a dynamic team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product testing/development life cycles
  • Understanding of software development life cycles
  • Proficiency with Cypress/Jest
  • Strong knowledge of testing various product types and approaches to quality monitoring
  • Database knowledge (creating/executing SQL queries, configuring databases for project needs)
  • Familiarity with testing different application types (web, desktop, etc.) and client-server concepts
  • Understanding of GUI standards and testing techniques to ensure reliable results
  • Advanced knowledge of the testing and quality control processes
  • English: B2 level or higher

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Top-Notch Quality: Design, execute, and document detailed test cases to identify and log defects, ensuring a seamless user experience through meticulous attention to detail
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively enhance our QA processes by suggesting improvements, promoting efficiency and a strong quality assurance culture within the team
  • Expertise in Automation: Help automate repetitive tasks and expand test coverage to ensure high product quality
