Altamira service delivery teams currently span Slovakia, Ukraine, and the Middle East, and we have ambitions to expand our footprint to meet the growing demand across Europe and into our primary growth markets in the UK and the US. In terms of industry verticals, we are focused on EdTech, Fintech, eCommerce, and Pharma.

As the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Altamira, you will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in defining and executing the company’s business development strategy. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding our footprint in AI and automation solutions. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and a strong technical background.

Requirements

Strong technical background, preferably with an engineering education and experience as an engineer.
Proven experience in business development leadership, ideally in the professional services or technology sector.
Deep understanding of AI solutions, automation technologies, and their business applications.
Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
Ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on execution.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
A results-driven mindset focused on long-term, sustainable growth.
English (full professional proficiency required)
Any other language skill is highly appreciated.

Financial & Revenue Growth

Strategic Partnerships & Client Relationships

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Service Delivery, and Talent Acquisition teams to align business development activities with company goals.
Leverage the expertise of the Engineering team to support sales and presales activities.
Drive ongoing improvements to internal structures and processes to support company growth.

Compensation package

In addition to the standard benefits package, which includes 20 days of paid vacation, 10 days of sick leave, and all public holidays, this role offers a competitive base salary, performance-based bonuses, and a stock option plan granting equity over five years.
