The Challenge
cRc Kosher identified a growing need for an easy-to-use mobile application that could provide users with instant access to a vast array of educational materials.
The project required a sophisticated solution that could offer advanced logo scanner, a searchable kosher products list, recommended kosher agencies, and a contact form for communication with cRc Kosher. Additionally, the app had to support a large and diverse library of educational content across multiple subjects and expertise levels.
Our team was brought on board to turn this vision into reality. The discovery process was highly collaborative, with the Client actively involved at every stage.

The Solution
Our team started with a Discovery phase, laying the foundation for a successful project. During this stage, we collaborated closely with cRc Kosher to understand their vision, objectives, and the specific needs of their target audience. This phase involved several key activities.
Stakeholder interviews
We conducted in-depth interviews with key stakeholders from the cRc Kosher side and gathered valuable insights into the challenges faced by potential users, as well as the desired outcomes for the application.
Market research
Our team conducted thorough research to understand the current needs for kosher information, analysed competitor apps, and identified gaps in existing solutions.
User persona development
Based on the information gathered from stakeholder interviews and market research, we developed detailed user personas representing the different types of users the app would serve. These personas guided our design and development decisions, ensuring that the app would meet the needs of all its users effectively.
Defining project scope
We defined the project scope, including core features and functionalities required for the app. On top of it, we prioritised features that would deliver the most value to users while staying within the client’s budget and timeline.
Technical feasibility assessment
Our team conducted a technical feasibility assessment to evaluate the complexity of the required features, such as real-time scanning capabilities. This assessment helped us identify potential challenges early on and plan for effective solutions.
Wireframing and prototyping
To visualise the app’s layout and user interface, we created wireframes and prototypes. These early models allowed us to test user flows and gather feedback from cRc Kosher, ensuring that the design was intuitive.
Technology stack selection
Based on the project requirements and technical feasibility assessment, we selected the most suitable technology stack for the app’s development, choosing the right tools, frameworks, and platforms to ensure the app’s performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
The Discovery stage also allowed us to identify potential risks, set realistic goals, and establish a clear roadmap for the project.

The Result
Following the dynamic Discovery stage, we are now entering the development phase of the mobile app with a clear vision and well-defined roadmap. The insights gained during Discovery have provided us with a solid foundation, ensuring that the app will meet the Client’s objectives and address the needs of end users.
As we move forward into development, we anticipate the following outcomes.
Streamlined resource access
Using the advanced scanning capabilities identified during Discovery, the app will enable users to quickly and efficiently access relevant educational resources. The logo scanner will simplify the process of finding and using the kosher products, reducing search time and improving the overall user experience.
Scalable and maintainable solution
The technology stack and development strategies selected during Discovery will ensure that the app is scalable, maintainable, and future-proof, ready to adapt to evolving user needs and technological advancements.
As a result, we provided the cRc Kosher with a detailed project plan that outlines the project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation and are ready to jump into the app development.
