The Challenge

Redwood reached out to Altamira to completely rebuild their website. The existing one looked outdated, was hard to navigate, and didn’t do a great job of showing who they are or what they offer. On top of that, adding new content or setting up pages for events was way more complicated than it needed to be. Given the existing challenges, our Client sought a solution to: 

  1. Improve how they tell their story online and make the site easier to use. 
  2. Drive more conversions while giving their internal team more control over content. 
  3. Lay the groundwork for future growth. 

 

We worked hand-in-hand with Redwood’s team from day one, starting with discovery and continuing through weekly design reviews and sprint check-ins. Their marketing, product, and leadership teams stayed closely involved to make sure everything we built fit their brand and long-term plans. 

As a zero headache software development partner, we brought solid experience in product design, content structure, and scalable development. Instead of just giving the site a facelift, we helped Redwood rethink how it could actually work better for them – from telling a clearer story to quickly launching new tools and pages when they need them. 

Of course, there were a few challenges, like turning complex investment data into user-friendly interfaces and building a widget-based system from scratch that could scale with the business. But with the right mix of technical know-how and close collaboration, we worked through them all.

  • Widgets: Interactive components—like maps, sliders, hover states, or tabbed panels—designed to help explain strategies or concepts in a more visual, user-friendly way. 
  • Gadgets: Real business content and data that feed into Widgets.  
  • Conferences module: A flexible system for publishing event pages, complete with fields for speakers, locations, schedules, registration forms, and more. 
  • Embedded video player: A fully customizable Vimeo integration with clean UI and flexible sizing. 
  • Advisor contact tool: A Calendly-powered contact widget that lets users easily book time with an advisor or analyst. 
  • White label infrastructure: Built-in support for white-labelled versions of the app so Redwood can offer custom-branded tools to advisors or partners down the line. 
  • Locked content: Secure, login-protected pages for sharing sensitive resources like PDFs, videos, or research. 
  • Custodian and broker-dealer modules: Dedicated sections to support onboarding and education around Redwood’s financial services network. 
  • Smart contact form: Clean, consistent, and ready for Salesforce integration. 

 

Third-party tools like Loom, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Vimeo, and Calendly were all smoothly integrated to keep Redwood’s team in sync and their data flowing where it’s needed.
